Night Run Warsaw near the Old Town and New Town
The night run will start at 23:00 in the Multimedia Fountain Park. Athletes will run along the following streets: Sanguszki, Konwiktorska, Bonifraterska, through Krasiński Square, Miodowa, Krakowskie Przedmieście, around Hoover Square, and then back along the same route. Runners will have 45 minutes to complete the five-kilometre course.
First, Sanguszki Street will be closed at 22:00. The other streets will be closed to traffic at 22:30. Traffic will return to all streets at midnight.
During the run, drivers will not be able to drive from Teatralny Square into Senatorska Street towards Castle Square. Buses on lines: 111, 116, 128, 175, 180, 503, 518 and N44 will run along Andersa Street, through Bankowy Square and Senatorska Street.
For residents of the Old Town and New Town, there will be special crossing points to allow them to leave the area. Police officers will let cars through at the intersections of: Konwiktorska and Zakroczymska, Bonifraterska and Franciszkańska, Bonifraterska and Świętojerska, and Miodowa and Długa.
On the run route, on Friday, 5 June, from 21:30 until the end of the day, parking will not be allowed. Vehicles left there may be towed away at the owner’s expense. Additional no-parking signs will also be placed on Sapieżyńska and Wałowa streets.
Sunday route of Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw
The triathlon will start on Sunday at 8:00 at Zegrze Reservoir. After the swim, athletes will get on their bikes. They will ride through the municipalities of Nieporęt, Marki and Radzymin. They will enter Warsaw via Płochocińska Street and continue along: Modlińska, Kuklińskiego Avenue, across the Skłodowska-Curie Bridge, along Wisłostrada to Szwoleżerów, where they will turn back towards the Multimedia Fountain Park. There, athletes will leave their bikes and start the run along the following streets: Sanguszki, Konwiktorska, Bonifraterska, Miodowa, through Krasiński Square, Miodowa, Krakowskie Przedmieście, through the University of Warsaw campus and Nowy Świat to the turnaround point before de Gaulle Roundabout. Athletes will return along the same route to Zakroczymska Street. They will complete three such loops.
The whole race route will be fenced off. All streets and exits from housing estates that connect directly with the race route will be closed. Pedestrians will be able to cross only in places and at times indicated by the police or the organiser’s services.
What changes will there be on Sunday?
During the bike race and run:
- from 8:30 to 13:30:
- Płochocińska Street will be closed from the city border to Szamocin Street;
- the carriageway towards the city border on Płochocińska Street will be closed from Szamocin to Marywilska;
- the whole width of Płochocińska Street will be closed from Marywilska Street to Modlińska Street;
- from Modlińska Street, drivers will be able to use Płochocińska Street only to reach Krzyżówki Street;
- from 9:00 to 13:30:
- two lanes of Modlińska Street towards Legionowo will be closed, from Płochocińska Street to the entrance to the Skłodowska-Curie Bridge;
- driving along Modlińska Street over Płochocińska Street and near Kuklińskiego Avenue will be possible only via viaducts;
- there will be no turn into Ekspresowa Street and no exit from it onto Modlińska Street;
- the carriageway of Kuklińskiego Avenue and the Skłodowska-Curie Bridge towards Bielany will be closed;
- from Kuklińskiego Avenue, drivers will be able to turn into Modlińska Street only towards Żerań;
- drivers heading towards Legionowo should use the Grota-Roweckiego Bridge to reach Modlińska Street;
- from 9:00 to 15:00:
- the Wisłostrada carriageway towards Mokotów will be closed, from the Skłodowska-Curie Bridge to Szwoleżerów Street, not including the intersection;
- from Pułkowa Street, drivers will only be able to reach Marymoncka Street;
- there will be no entry onto Wisłostrada towards Mokotów from the following streets: Wittek Avenue, Gwiaździsta, Armii Krajowej Avenue, Grota-Roweckiego Bridge, Krasińskiego, Wenedów, Grodzka, Nowy Zjazd, Karowa, Poniatowskiego Bridge, Ludna, Wilanowska, Górnośląska, Łazienkowski Bridge and Łazienkowska;
- access to Boleść, Bugaj and Mostowa streets will be possible from Długa Street;
- from 9:00 to 18:00:
- Sanguszki, Konwiktorska, Miodowa and Krakowskie Przedmieście streets will be closed;
- Bonifraterska Street will be closed from Konwiktorska Street to Krasiński Square;
- Senatorska Street will be closed from Teatralny Square to Miodowa Street;
- Nowy Świat will be closed from the Nicolaus Copernicus Monument to de Gaulle Roundabout;
- Świętokrzyska Street will be closed from Mazowiecka Street to Kopernika Street;
- on Tamka Street uphill, from the intersection with Topiel and Kruczkowskiego streets, only drivers going to the children’s hospital and Kopernika Street will be allowed through;
- from Słomińskiego Street, there will be no turn into Szymanowska Street, and Krajewskiego Street will provide access only to the Citadel;
- there will be special crossing points allowing entry to and exit from the Old Town area at the intersections of: Konwiktorska and Zakroczymska, Bonifraterska and Franciszkańska, Bonifraterska and Świętojerska, and Miodowa and Długa.
No parking along the route
On Sunday, no-parking signs will be placed on all streets used by race participants. The signs will include information that vehicles may be removed at the owner’s expense. The restrictions will also apply to Sapieżyńska and Wałowa streets.
Buses on detours
Warsaw Public Transport buses will run on detour routes:
- 178 will run all day on a shortened route from Skorosze to Daszyńskiego Roundabout;
- from 7:30 to 13:30, lines: 126, 152, 186, 509, 511, 516, 518, 705, 723, 731, 735, 736, 738, L44, L45;
- from 9:00 to 15:00, lines: 100, 106, 107, 114, 118, 131, 141, 159, 166, 185, 187;
- from 9:30 to 18:00, lines: 100, 106, 111, 116, 180, 503 and 518.

A special phone number will be available for drivers: 500 261 000. Drivers will be able to get help and information about all traffic restrictions and possible detours. The helpline will be open on Saturday and Sunday:
- Saturday, 6.06. – 10.00 – 18.00
- Sunday, 7.06. – 8.00 – 18.00
A good and tested option is to use the free Waze app. On race day, Sunday, the navigation will include all closed road sections and traffic crossing points, and will show the fastest detour routes.
