Night Run on Friday, Pho3nix IRONKIDS Warsaw on Saturday. Sunday will be all about IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw and 5150 Warsaw, featuring triathletes from over 70 countries. And on top of that… a musical journey for the fans. No chance of getting bored!
Throughout the entire weekend – from Friday to Sunday – nearly 5,000 athletes will take part in the Warsaw events. That’s over a thousand more than last year. More than 60 percent of the IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw participants are athletes from outside Poland, primarily from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
The growing number of athletes in the IRONMAN Poland series shows that triathlon continues to gain strength. What’s particularly interesting and noteworthy is how many athletes from outside Poland choose to compete here. This is clear evidence that the organizational level of our events is high enough to attract people from all over the world.

Triathlon Stars in Warsaw
Many professional triathletes will be lining up at the start. One to watch is Chase McQueen from the United States, who holds a U.S. Championship title as well as an E-Triathlon World Championship. E-Triathlon combines competition in both the real and virtual worlds.

Coming from Germany is Andreas Dreitz, a participant in the 2019 IRONMAN European Championship over the full distance, where he placed 6th. Last year, he finished second at IRONMAN 70.3 Hradec Králové.
Elite female athletes will also be competing in the Polish capital. Among them is Italian triathlete Luisa Logna Prat, who began her triathlon journey at the age of 9. She is a four-time Italian champion. Also on the start list is Katharina Kruger from Germany, who says she was fascinated by IRONMAN as a child. The spirit of competition drives her toward the goal of competing in the IRONMAN World Championship over the full distance. So far, she has claimed 18th place at the 2021 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship and 4th place at the 2023 IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań.

IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw is the “main course” of the weekend, but other sporting events promise to be just as exciting. On Sunday at 8:00 AM—before the IRONMAN 70.3 athletes even hit the water—participants of the 5150 Triathlon Series will dive into Lake Zegrzyńskie. The winners of this Olympic-distance race are expected to cross the finish line in the Multimedia Fountain Park around 9:50 AM. The “Olympic” distance event has drawn a lot of interest, with 800 people registered to race.
Children’s Joy of Running
The races for the youngest participants—Pho3nix IRONKIDS Warsaw—are scheduled for Saturday. Both the start and finish will be located in the Multimedia Fountain Park. Children as young as 3 years old will take part. The youngest boys and girls will run a 350-meter course starting at 12:00 PM. Five- and six-year-olds will also cover the same distance. Children born in 2017–2018 will run twice that distance. The same goes for young runners aged 9–10. Girls and boys born in 2013–2014 will face a one-kilometer course. The longest distance—1,700 meters—is reserved for the oldest age group, with that race scheduled for 1:40 PM.

Everything kicks off on Friday night. At 11:00 PM, the Night Run Warsaw will begin—a five-kilometer race through the heart of the capital. The route will lead from the Multimedia Fountain Park, along Konwiktorska Street, past the Supreme Court, by Castle Square, all the way to the Mickiewicz Monument. Then, runners will return via Krakowskie Przedmieście and Bonifraterska Street to the finish line at the fountains. Every participant will receive a headlamp in their race pack and a finisher medal at the finish line.

Fans who decide to come to the finish area won’t be disappointed. They’ll witness incredible sporting emotions—but even before the athletes arrive, multimedia shows will take place on Friday and Saturday at 9:30 PM. Each show lasts about 30 minutes and is free to the public. This year’s spectacle, titled “Warsaw, You and I,” is a tribute to the capital and its residents. The show combines water, light, laser effects, and music to create an unforgettable experience. Detailed information about the shows can be found on the organizer’s website: estrada.com.pl.
A Musical Journey with IRONMAN Poland
On Sunday, June 8 at 11:00 AM, a city game will begin, in which participants collect stamps in specially marked fan zones. Those who want to compete for prizes will need a map and a bit of determination as they search for the musical checkpoints. Prizes await only those who collect all the stamps. The triathlon village, which will open on Friday in the Multimedia Fountain Park, will also feature shops selling IRONMAN Poland-branded apparel and gear, as well as attractive partner and sponsor zones. At the booth organized by the Polish Paralympic Committee on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, visitors will have the chance to meet Polish Paralympians and try their hand at para-badminton, para-cycling (handbikes and tandems), and biathlon. In the educational zone, animators will raise awareness about mobility, vision, and hearing-related topics.
