The triathlete from the capital needed 3 hours, 49 minutes and 30 seconds to complete the full distance. Great Britain’s Raoul Metcalf crossed the finish line second, 6 minutes and 26 seconds behind the winner.
It was a special race. For the first time in the history of Polish events held under the “M-dot” brand, more than 2,300 athletes were on the start lists. This is an all-time record. With relay participants included, more than two and a half thousand people registered for the race. Over 60 percent of them were international athletes. The competition was strong, but the Polish athlete Sergiusz Sobczyk was unmatched.
Winning at home, in front of my own crowd, over this distance is something spectacular. It is something I will remember for the rest of my life. The fans carried me today. It was amazing when I was running in here and saw those smiles and hands clapping. You get goosebumps all over your body. It is great fuel for an athlete. It is a beautiful day.

The first woman to cross the finish line was Natalia Matsupko from Ukraine. The athlete completed the full distance with a time of 4:16:54 and, after finishing the race, praised the organization of the event, the preparation of the routes, and the level of competition.
I love Warsaw. I am incredibly happy. This whole race was a wonderful experience for me, and I feel very good.

This year’s route was also praised by Małgorzata Granicka, the first Polish woman to cross the finish line. The former handball player, who in 2024 won an IRONMAN 70.3 distance race in her debut, plans to take part in all Polish IRONMAN series events this year.
I am happy with my result and glad that I won this beautiful medal. When I was “dying” during the run, it was my only motivation to keep going. I want to have a full set of these wonderful medals from all four locations.

Thousands of fans gathered along all the routes where the triathletes competed, cheering for their loved ones and athletes well known from their influencer activities, including Makówka Music and Mini Majk, who took part in a relay in Warsaw. It was meant to be a test before the race in Kraków.
This route showed me a lot about how to prepare for the race in Kraków. I know what I need to improve. I have to say that the fans gave us great power today. Today I raced in a relay, but in the capital of Małopolska I will also have to add swimming and running.

Mikołaj “Tyszka” Tyszkiewicz, influencer and ambassador of Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw, completed the full IRONMAN 70.3 distance today. After catching his breath and quickly checking his results from each section, Mikołaj admitted that Warsaw was a very good location for him.
I swam much better than I expected. I broke 4 hours and 30 minutes, and I didn’t even think it would be possible today. Especially because I was not focused on the result here, but rather on following my race plan.

Night madness
The triathlon weekend in Warsaw started on Friday. That evening, over 1,200 people raced in the Night Run, a 5-kilometre night race. Mateusz Lipiński from Mana Lake Team was clearly the fastest over this distance. He completed the course in 14 minutes and 46 seconds. At the finish line, he said that the fantastic atmosphere and the supporters along the course carried him forward.
The conditions were perfect for running. The rain did not bother me at all. The cobblestones were wet, but that was not a problem. There were a lot of people along the course, and that really carried me forward. I am surprised by my time, but very happy with the result.

The first woman to finish the night “five” was Diana Dawidziuk-Gosk. The DD Running Team athlete completed the race in 0:17:45.
A very well-prepared course and an amazing atmosphere at the finish line. It is great that this is the same finish line where the athletes racing in Enea IRONMAN 70.3 finish. The supporters did a great job.

Pho3nix IRONKIDS
Saturday was all about children’s races. The youngest kids started at noon. Three and four-year-olds raced over 100 metres. Wiktor Żurek was the first to cross the finish line. The second age group raced over 350 metres. Among children aged 5-6, Julian Peła was the fastest. Children born in 2018 and 2019 had twice that distance to cover. Stanisław Gorczyński won this race. The same distance, meaning two laps in the Multimedia Fountain Park, was prepared for children aged 9-10. The victory went to Adam Włoch. Three laps, or about 1,000 metres, were prepared for athletes born in 2014-2015. This race was won by Jan Bigaj from Kraków. The oldest children competed on the longest course, 1,700 metres. Among children born in 2011-2013, after an exciting finish, Shamil Dovlatov from Azerbaijan and Robert Urbanowicz crossed the finish line almost at the same time. Hugo Hołub finished just behind them. The fastest girl at the finish line was Róża Murawska, who was only 5 seconds behind the winner.
The next race in the IRONMAN Poland series is planned for 19 July in Gdynia. The triathlon weekend will start on Friday, when the Expo area opens, and Night Run Gdynia will start in the evening. On Saturday, children will race, and Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia is planned for Sunday morning. Registration for the night run is still open.
